Mr. Boggs
Mr.Boggs graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2004 with a BA in Group Social Studies and a minor in History. He then graduated from Cornerstone University with a master’s in Education in 2010. Before coming to West Michigan Aviation Academy Mr. Boggs taught for 7 years at Algoma Christian, a small private school in northern Kent County. This school year Mr. Boggs will be teaching Human Geography, Sociology, Government, and Economics. Mr. Boggs has a strong passion and commitment to share with, and prepare his students with the essentials to becoming engaged and knowledgeable citizens.
Mr. Boggs is not new to West Michigan Aviation Academy. He has served as an assistant baseball coach for the last 3 years and will take on the new role of head varsity baseball coach in the spring of 2019. He has coached baseball for the past 16 years and is looking forward to expanding the experiences of student-athletes who share his passion and vision for our developing baseball program.He has also coached bowling and softball at various other schools in the area.
Mr. Boggs is a native of small town Byron Center, where he and his wife have lived for over 20 years. When not focusing on teaching he enjoys traveling with his wife, playing golf, softball, and biking. He is very excited to be a part of the West Michigan Aviation Academy team.
